Arc Flash Event at the Los Alamos National Laboratory
On August 20, 2026, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enforcement notified Triad National Security, LLC, of its intent to investigate potential noncompliances in the implementation of DOE’s 10 C.F.R. Part 851 Worker Safety and Health Program requirements related to an electrical arc flash injury at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
