Inspection of Emergency Management at the Nevada Test Site
This report provides the results of an independent oversight inspection of emergency management at the Department of Energy's (DOE) Nevada Test Site. The inspection was conducted in July and August 2004 by the Office of Independent Oversight and Performance Assurance's Office of Emergency Management Oversight, within the DOE Office of Security and Safety Performance Assurance. The inspection was performed in conjunction with an inspection of safeguards and security by Independent Oversight's Office of Safeguards and Security Evaluations. This volume discusses the results of the emergency management program inspection. The results of the safeguards and security program inspection are discussed in Volume I of this report, and the combined results are discussed in a summary report. Volume I and the summary report are classified documents.
