On March 27, 2020, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enterprise Assessments’ Office of Enforcement issued Enforcement Letter WEL-2020-03 to Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC for deficiencies in implementing DOE’s worker safety and health program requirements (10 C.F.R. Part 851) associated with several control room electrical relay failures and fire response events at the Idaho National Laboratory’s Advanced Test Reactor.
