FEMP IACET: 0.3 CEUs

Level: Introductory

This training introduces the Federal Energy Management Program's (FEMP) Building Re-tuning Simulator (BRS), an online tool that helps identify low- and no-cost re-tuning measures. The re-tuning process helps identify and correct building operational problems and minimize energy consumption.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, attendees will be able to:

  • Recognize what re-tuning is.
  • Identify the niches and features of the BRS
  • Recognize the benefits of using the BRS to simulate re-tuning measures.
  • Select options that demonstrate familiarity with the BRS web tool and how to navigate it.
  • Indicate knowledge of creating energy models of buildings in the BRS.
