The Office of the Chief Information Officer will host the 2022 DOE Cybersecurity and Technology Innovation Conference, June 13-16, 2022, in Portland, OR at the Hilton Portland Downtown.
The DOE Cybersecurity and Technology Innovation Conference is a key opportunity for the DOE enterprise and partners to come together to discuss the latest developments in cyber, innovation, and IT issues and identify new opportunities for collaboration and cooperation. Attendees will include DOE Federal employees, staff from the national laboratories, plants, sites, and power marketing administrations, as well as federal staff from across the interagency, academic partners, international representatives, and private industry—anyone who is working to advance IT, innovation, and cybersecurity within the government and energy sector.
This year's theme is “Leveraging Innovation to Meet Future Challenges.” The Conference will address immediate and future technology and cybersecurity questions facing the enterprise related to the new hybrid workplace environment, investments associated with the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the Secretary’s goals of combating the climate crisis, creating clean energy union jobs, and promoting energy justice.
We hope that you will join us—DOE, Bonneville Power Administration, and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory—for a week of sessions with top thought leaders across our enterprise and in the fields of cyber, IT, innovation, privacy and records management, advanced data analytics, operational technology, risk management, energy sector resilience and much more as we look forward to what’s next for the DOE enterprise.
The agenda will consist of plenary sessions to highlight the latest developments and innovations, breakout sessions to foster new cooperation and partnerships, and practical training exercises to enhance the capabilities of the information technology and cyber workforce.
