On September 18, 2022, Hurricane Fiona made landfall on Puerto Rico as a category 1 hurricane, bringing historic levels of rain, catastrophic damage, and an island-wide blackout.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Energy Response Organization is activated and Emergency Support Function #12 responders are deployed in support of Hurricane Fiona. 

DOE is working closely with industry, interagency, and state partners to support the response to Hurricane Fiona. Public situation reports be found below; DOE issued the final public situation report for this storm on September 30, 2022.
