The climate crisis is not some far-off threat. It is here right now, and it is already wreaking havoc on our health, safety, security, and economy. It's one of the reasons President Biden put the Department of Energy at the heart of his Bipartisan Infrastructure Law – setting aside $62 BILLION to make real, meaningful progress on tackling the climate crisis and transitioning our country to cleaner, cheaper energy. To make it happen, we've created the Clean Energy Corps – a team of dedicated individuals who are determined to use their skills and their know-how to save the planet. Come work with us to get this done and help us meet the moment: energy.gov/CleanEnergyCorps

“President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law puts DOE at the heart of building a better America with clean, affordable energy, and we’re wasting no time recruiting people that will make it a reality,” said U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Not to boast, but I think I’m civilian employee #001…”

The Clean Energy Corps is made up of staff from more than a dozen offices across DOE, including current employees and new hires who will work together to research, develop, demonstrate, and deploy solutions to climate change. With the passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Clean Energy Corps is charged with investing more than $62 billion to deliver a more equitable clean energy future for the American people.
