WASHINGTON, D.C. – Next Tuesday, U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry will visit the Hanford site in Washington State to deliver remarks.
September 26, 2019WASHINGTON, D.C. – Next Tuesday, U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry will visit the Hanford site in Washington State to deliver remarks at an employee celebration to commemorate the completion of the K-Basin sludge transfer. This transfer was completed under budget, ahead of schedule, and reduces the environmental risks to the Columbia River. Following his remarks, the Secretary will participate in a media availability. The Secretary will also speak with local STEM students and tour site facilities.
