WASHINGTON, D.C. — From August 14, 2017 to August 15, 2017, U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Rick Perry will be in Oregon and Washington to visit the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ McNary Lock and Dam, DOE’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), and DOE’s Hanford Site. Throughout the course of the trip he will be joined by U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell, U.S. Congressman Dan Newhouse, and U.S. Congressman Greg Walden.
On Monday, August 14, 2017, Secretary Perry will travel to Umatilla, OR to tour the McNary Lock and Dam and have a brief media availability immediately following.

On Tuesday, August 15, 2017, Secretary Perry will travel to Richland, WA to visit the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) where he will tour the lab’s world class facilities and provide open press remarks to employees.
