WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Friday, September 25, U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will be in Wilmington, North Carolina to visit the GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy factory and engage with local officials. While there, he will tour the facility and participate in a fireside chat with GE which will be livestreamed nationwide to GE employees, as well as local and national media. The Secretary will discuss the future of energy and what innovation such as Artificial Intelligence is needed moving forward to support the evolution of energy in this country. He will also talk about the importance of plants like GE Hitachi to the development of towns and communities across America.
