WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Friday, March 6, 2020 U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will participate in the Eastern Mediterranean Gas Forum High Level Roundtable hosted at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Secretary Brouillette will provide remarks on the importance of oil and gas cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean and the United States’ interest in supporting these efforts. He will also participate in a Ministerial panel with Israel’s Minister of Energy Dr. Yuval Steinitz and Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum H.E. Tarek El-Molla. The panel will be moderated by Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Energy Resources at the U.S. State Department, Francis R. Fannon.
On the sidelines of the roundtable, Secretary Brouillette will hold a bilateral meeting with Israel’s Minister of Energy Dr. Yuval Steinitz. They will provide statements to the media and make a new U.S.-Israel energy announcement.
