Department of Energy Leadership To Participate In InnovationXLab

The following U.S. Government officials will provide remarks throughout the Summit.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On January 28-29, 2020 the U.S. Department of Energy and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory will host the InnovationXLab Summit on Biomanufacturing in Berkeley, CA.

The following U.S. Government officials will provide remarks throughout the Summit:

  • Under Secretary for Science Paul Dabbar on January 28th at 8:35AM PST
  • Director of the Office of Science Chris Fall on January 28th at 9:35AM PST
  • Assistant Secretary for the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Daniel Simmons on January 29th at 8:30AM PST
  • Chief Commercialization Officer Conner Prochaska on January 28th at 8:15AM PST

Under Secretary Dabbar will have a brief media availability after his remarks.

The InnovationXLab Biomanufacturing Summit is an exclusive event aimed at showcasing how U.S. industry can leverage the world-leading bioscience assets and capabilities of the Department of Energy’s national laboratories. The goal of XLab is to bridge the gap between research and commercialization and pave the way for a stronger bioeconomy – and the jobs and industries of tomorrow.
