AIKEN, S.C. (January 13, 2020) – The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Environmental Management, is currently in the acquisition planning phase for a potential new Management & Operating contract for the Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL).  In support of the anticipated SRNL procurement, DOE is holding an Industry Day to inform interested parties of the process that will be followed for the procurement, and to provide an overview of the SRNL vision and preliminary Statement of Work.

News media are invited to attend.

The event will feature Paul Dabbar, DOE Under Secretary for Science, who will present the “Vision for SRNL” from 8-8:30 a.m.

There will be a media availability with Under Secretary Dabbar from 10:15-10:30 a.m.
