Awarded Projects for the DOE/DOD Long-Duration Energy Storage Joint Program

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)/U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Long-Duration Energy Storage (LDES) Joint Program is a partnership between DOE’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) and DOD’s Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy Resilience and Optimization (ODASD (ER&O)). This program was established to demonstrate promising LDES technologies that can operate for more than 10 hours at DOD facilities, campuses, and installations and to help new and innovative LDES technologies become commercially viable.
