The U.S. Department of Energy is proposing to conduct preliminary activities to support the siting, design and installation of an above ground 115 kilovolt interconnection transmission line from a substation located on the National Wind Technology Center (NWTC) to a local utility offsite switchyard to be located south of the NWTC.
