January 6, 2014Characterization and Analyses of Core Samples from the 105-C Disassembly Basin
CX(s) Applied: B3.6
Date: 01/06/2014
Location(s): South Carolina
Offices(s): Savannah River Operations Office
Testing, characterization and analysis of core samples from 105-C Disassembly Basis are specified in order to determine the ability of the concrete to withstand design loads and design basis accidents in its current condition and for extended life. In addition, the nature of the concrete, its condition and its compressive strength will be used to assess the applicability of these results for other structures on-site (i.e., L–area Basin complex).
