The U.S. Department of Energy is proposing to provide federal funding to Oregon State University to study the behavioral impacts of wave energy conversion devices on fish with a specific aim to understand how these behavioral changes impact the fish communities. Project funding would be used to conduct hook and line surveys, acoustic telemetry studies, drop video camera surveillance and fixed seabed sonar platforms at two sites.
