The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Strategic Analysis, Inc. to perform various system-level analyses of hydrogen production and delivery pathways to determine the most economical, environmentally-benign, and socially-feasible paths forward for the production and delivery of hydrogen fuel for fuel cell vehicles; to identify key "bottlenecks" to the success of these pathways, primary cost drivers, and remaining Research and Development (R&D) challenges; and to create hydrogen case studies on selected R&D pathways.
