A Area is located in the northeast portion of Savannah River Site (SRS). The Coal Pile Runoff Basin 788-3A (CPRB) and the Ash Pile 788-A are located in the southern portion of A Area. The additional sampling at the aforementioned subunits is intended to characterize, ash, coal fines and soil in support of the remedy decision.
