The four cell extensions located at the Seven Spings Laydown Yard will be abandoned-in-place. The cell extensions are constructed of steel and concrete. The four located at Seven Springs were never used and therefore are not radiologically contaminated. The cell extensions will be dispositioned when Area Closure Projects (ACP) conducts site closure. No environmental hazards will result from abandoning the cell covers at the Seven Springs laydown yard.
