The U.S. DOE is proposing to provide federal funding to Arizona State University (ASU) to conduct research and development activities that advance solar photovoltaic technology. DOE funding would be used to develop an X-ray in-situ microscopy capability at the Advanced Photon Source laboratory and apply performance-governing defect kinetics in chalcogenide solar cell materials to it.
