The U.S. DOE is proposing to provide federal funding to Oregon State University in partnership with the University of Washington to develop the Northwest National Marine Renewable Energy Center to support wave and tidal energy development for the U.S. DOE funding would be used for testing, experiments, modeling and outreach for wave and tidal projects.
