Three existing roof top heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) supply units can not meet current temperature and humidity control parameters. Dismantle & remove the three HVAC units and install three modern units with control features that meet research clean room performance requirements. The lunchroom HVAC unit, located on the A-Section service floor, is beyond its useful life. Dismantle & remove this unit & replace with like unit with updated controls. These HVAC unit require more electric power, thus a new electric line will be install from 752-62A substation to 735-A. This new electric duct bank will require excavation next to the existing duct bank for project Y673. Construction will perform some exploratory digging in order to identify some interference for design completion.
