This project will support the development of the educational and research infrastructure of the new nuclear engineering program at Virginia Commonwealth University by purchasing a high-purity germanium detector, a gas proportional counter, and a Nal (sodium iodide) Scintillation detector. This equipment will be used for teaching purposes and in performing research.
