Southwest Research Institute proposes to design, fabricate, and test a bench-scale supercritical carbon dioxide (sCO2) plasma reactor system engineered to convert captured or waste CO2 feedstocks into graphitic carbon and oxygen gas. The proposed project activities are strictly limited to laboratory-scale research and development, computational modeling, and analytical characterization within existing facilities, explicitly excluding any pilot- or commercial-scale manufacturing.
