The Phase I project activities include lab scale design, development, fabrication and testing of a prototype system to extract 100 grams of gallium from Bayer liquor from Atalco's (project partner) Gramercy facility. The work also includes business case analysis and preliminary design work of a larger scale pilot system to be deployed at the Gramercy facility in Phase II of this project.
