Seattle City Light (SCL) plans an audit of urban residential electrical circuits, focused on vegetation hazard identification, followed by targeted vegetation management and power line-compatible tree planting per city ordinance. SCL will also install distribution line sensors and "smart" switches, providing load and outage data and remote operation.
