WASHINGTON—U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright today announced that Chief of Staff Carl Coe will step down from his role, effective Friday, July 31, and that Charlie Dankert will serve as the Department of Energy's next Chief of Staff
"Carl has been a trusted advisor and an exceptional leader throughout his time at DOE," said Secretary Wright. "Drawing on decades of private-sector experience, Carl helped strengthen our operations, improve how we execute our mission, and advance President Trump's American energy dominance agenda. His leadership and steadfast commitment have left a lasting impact, and I am deeply grateful for his counsel and partnership."
Dankert currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, where he has helped advance President Trump's energy agenda.
