The objective of this task is to address existing vulnerabilities in grid-supporting communications infrastructure. 1) Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Network Modernization focuses on the comprehensive upgrade and expansion of the utility's Land Mobile Radio (LMR) network. 2) Critical Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) Backbone Fiber Replacement in the western and southern regions of Puerto Rico, specifically along the designated paths listed in the EQ. 3) Installation of Licensed Microwave Links link between the Aguirre Steam Plant and La Santa on Puerto Rico’s southern OPGW route to restore reliable communications.
