April 7, 2026This project would replace 4,100 feet of underground conductor that has reached its useful life and is starting to cause extended outages for our customers. We are looking at directional boring in the new conductors to be less invasive to our customer. The replacement cable has a life expectancy of 45 – 50 years. This project would replace 35,400 feet of open wire secondary cable with new larger insulated cable to reduce outages and increase ampacity to handle the increased demand for electricity.
