DOE-STD-3009-94 Chg Notice 3, Preparation Guide for U.S. Department of Energy Nonreactor Nuclear Facility Documented Safety Analyses

This Standard describes a DSA preparation method that is acceptable to the DOE as delineated for those specific facilities listed in Table 2 of Appendix A, “General Statement of Safety Basis Policy”, to Subpart B, “Safety Basis Requirements”, of 10 CFR 830. It was developed to assist Hazard Category 2 and 3 facilities in preparing SARs that will satisfy the requirements of 10 CFR 830. Hazard Category 1 facilities are typically expected to be Category A reactors for which extensive precedents for SARs already exist. Superseded by DOE-STD-3009-2014.
