On January 14, 2026, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enforcement notified Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC and its subcontractor Delcon Electric Inc. of its intent to investigate potential deficiencies in the implementation of DOE’s 10 C.F.R. Part 851 Worker Safety and Health Program requirements at the Brookhaven National Laboratory.
