The Klickitat PUD will upgrade approximately 7.5 miles of old, outdated poles, some dating back to 1947. The current poles will be replaced with taller poles spaced closer together to increase wire spacing and allow for variability in sag throughout the year. Further, the poles will be fire wrapped to increase fire resilience during the dry fire season.
