The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as part of the Assisting Federal Facilities with Energy Conservation Technologies (AFFECT) grant program. The funding provided would assist in renewable energy efforts at the FBI North Campus facility in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
