The individual(s) designated by the Head of Element to approve employees within the organization to hand carry classified matter are required to ensure that each individual they authorize to hand carry is briefed on hand carrying responsibilities are to use the Authorized Hand Carry Briefing Acknowledgement to record the briefing. A record of hand carry briefings must be maintained.
