Pursuant to Executive Order (EO) No. 10485, as amended by EO 12038, and 10 C.F.R. § 205.320 et seq., Energia Sierra Juarez U.S. Transmission, LLC (ESJ) hereby applies for an amendment to its Presidential Permit No. PP-334-1 (PP-334-1) to authorize an increase in the rate of transmission over ESJ’s operating electric power generation tie line (the ESJ Tie Line). PP-334-1 was issued on August 31, 2012, authorizing ESJ to construct and operate the ESJ Tie Line to transmit electricity across the border from Mexico into the United States.
