Secretary Brouillette to Travel to Colorado

Secretary Brouillette will tour the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado with state and local officials.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will tour the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado with state and local officials. He will discuss the cutting-edge renewable energy technologies NREL is pursuing and announce a new, visionary energy research platform at the Lab.

Secretary Brouillette will also participate in an energy roundtable discussion hosted by the American Petroleum Institute (API) in Denver. He will be joined by API President and CEO Mike Sommers and leaders from the oil and gas industry. The Secretary will emphasize this Administration’s commitment to a strong American oil and gas industry and maintaining U.S. energy independence.
