Dear DOE Colleagues,

The Department of Energy (DOE) has received confirmation that two additional employees based at the Forrestal building have tested positive for COVID-19.  One employee has been away from the building since February 14th, and the other since March 30th.  The employees are currently recovering while in self-quarantine.

DOE is notifying employees who work in close proximity to these individuals and is deep cleaning their immediate and surrounding work areas.

The health and safety of our workforce is our number one priority, and we continue to closely follow the guidance of both the CDC and OPM, encouraging employees to maximize telework and practice “social distancing” during this time.

Thank you,

Dan Brouillette
Secretary
