The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced the availability of DOE's Western Area Power Administration's draft EIS (DOE/EIS-0150) that analyzed potential environmental impacts of its proposal to increase the level of its commitment (sales) of long-term firm (guaranteed) electrical capacity and energy generated by the Salt Lake City Area Integrated Projects, a series of hydroelectric power plants in Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico.
