Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) proposes to replace existing Structures 28/8, 28/9, and 29/2 along its Kersey West - Willoby (KRW-WBY) 115-kV Transmission Line in Weld County, Colorado. The existing wood H-frame structures will be replaced in-kind, using the existing structure holes. The full scope of this project will include removing the existing structures, re-auguring the existing structure holes, installing the new structures, backfilling the structure holes, and installing new hardware. Equipment may include bucket trucks, truck-mounted augers, cranes, utility trucks, pick-up trucks, skid-steer loaders, pole trailers, and equipment trailers. Work will occur on private land, and will be confined to WAPA’s right-of-way (ROW). Existing access routes will be used and no road maintenance or new road construction will occur.
