WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Tuesday, April 30, 2019, U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry and Senior DOE officials will travel to Brussels, Belgium to participate in the 1st U.S.-EU Energy Council High-Level Business to Business Forum alongside Vice President Maroš Šefčovič, Commissioner Miguel Arias Cañete, U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon D. Sondland, Director General for Energy at the European Commission, Dominique Ristori, and IEA Executive Director, Dr. Fatih Birol. On Thursday, May 2, 2019, Secretary Perry will provide keynote remarks at the Forum and participate in a joint press conference with Commissioner Cañete.
