The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is proposing to test a thermal camera tracking system that has been developed to detect wildlife movements around wind turbines. This project would be a joint research effort between NREL and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL).
