The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to University of Washington (UW) to apply machine learning to perovskite stability data in order to discover quantitative leading indicators for perovskite degradation and use them to screen materials, device architectures, and packaging to enable long-term stability of high performance solar cells. The project would be completed over two Budget Periods (BPs), with a Go/No-Go Decision Point in between each BP.
