In this Direct Final Rule, DOE proposes amended energy conservation standards for residential dishwashers. The proposed amended standards are the maximum allowable estimated annual energy use (EAEU) and the maximum allowable water consumption. These proposed standards, if adopted, would apply to all products listed in Table 1.1 of the NOPR and manufactured in, or imported into, the United Stales on or after January 1,2013.
