Engenuity South Carolina (EngenuitySC) is proposing to use federal funds to establish Columbia, South Carolina as a world class center for nuclear and clean energy types. Through the establishment of partnerships with local educational facilities and the chamber of commerce, EngenuitySC hopes to establish a regional entrepreneurship education and training program for K-12 students, a regional education and workforce development training program, a physical and virtual Commercialization System for the growth of high technical alternative energy companies, and launch an industry engagement program focused on recruiting, expanding and transitioning companies to clean technology.
