Washburne, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), the U.S. Government’s development finance institution to announce a joint initiative for energy investment in the Americas at the World Gas Conference. Later in the day Secretary Perry will participate in an official World Gas Conference Ministerial Panel on Integrating Gas in the Americas with the Minister of Energy and Mining, Javier Iguacel of Argentina as well as several private sector representatives.
