Under previous National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) determinations, the University of Central Florida (formerly Florida Hydrogen Initiative) must submit NEPA documentation for each new project selected under the project scope. Determination is being made for three new sub-awards (Tasks 7, 8, and 9) that were selected by the University after holding an Internal funding opportunity announcement. The titles of the three sub-awards, as listed in the University's statement of project objectives, are: - Task 7 - Chemochromatic Hydrogen leak Detectors for Safety Monitoring; - Task 8 - Development of High Efficiency low Cost Electrocatalysts for Hydrogen Production and polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) Fuel Cell Applications: and - Task 9. Understanding Mechanical and Chemical Durability of Fuel Cell Membrane Electrode Assembles.
