Bonneville Power Administration proposes to fund the acquisition of the 168.70-acre Flesher property by the Kalispel. The acquisition provides an opportunity to enhance, restore, and manage high quality wildlife habitat for Endangered Species Act-listed grizzly bear, gray wolf, and bull trout. Other species that will benefit include white-tail deer, mallard, Canada goose, yellow warbler, black-capped chickadee, and muskrat, as well as other species dependent on riparian habitat for their survival.
