Sandia National Laboratories/New Mexico (SNL/NM) proposes to perform experimental and computational research. In addition, researchers would receive training in a mentored research program. This work would involve the molecular aspects of infectious diseases, and focus on understanding the genetic basis of mycobacterium latency and reactivation. The majority of the research work would be done at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center (UNM-HSC), with some sample analysis at SNL/NM.
