Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. The Osage Nation of Oklahoma proposes to 1) advance the skills of staff by providing technical training and participating in relevant conferences; 2) develop a strategy to reduce energy consumption and conduct residential and commercial building audits; 3) develop a nation-wide energy conservation plan for tribally-operated buildings including educating employees, conducting meetings, etc.; 4) develop a nation-wide energy efficiency plan for tribally-operated buildings including seeking advice from industry professionals, revisiting previous energy audits, performing cost-benefit analyses, etc.; and 5) develop standards for new building construction projects.
